Do I need an International Driving Permit to self-drive in Bali?
Yes. For self-drive you need your home driving licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP), carried together. If you'd rather skip the paperwork, every car on the board is available with an English-speaking driver from $35/day.
Where do I charge, and what does it cost?
Bali had 230 public SPKLU units across 164 sites by end-2025, including DPS Airport, ITDC Nusa Dua, Sanur, Kuta/Seminyak and Singaraja. Fast charging carries a service fee of Rp933.22/kWh capped at Rp25,000 per session; electricity itself is capped at Rp2,467/kWh, as of 2026. We hand over every car with the confirmed chargers on your corridor marked.
Is the range enough for a full-island loop?
South-Bali trips are comfortable for every model we run. For the long corridors — Lovina (~87km one-way) or Amed (~97km) — use the Range-Check Console: it gives an honest three-tier verdict per model and, where a top-up is needed, routes you through a confirmed charger before you leave.
How is the battery handled at handover and return?
Cars are delivered charged, and we agree the return state of charge with you on WhatsApp before the trip — plainly, in writing, along with the deposit terms for your model. No surprises at drop-off.
Can I rent a Tesla or another premium EV?
Tesla Model 3/Model Y, Porsche Taycan and BMW i4 are arranged on request through our concierge desk — availability and rates are confirmed per unit on WhatsApp rather than listed, because they change with the fleet. The Ioniq 5 with driver ($500/24h) and Denza D9 with driver ($235/12h) are on the standing board.
