BYD Seal Rental Bali — Premium Electric Sedan

BYD Seal Rental Bali — Premium Electric Sedan

The BYD Seal is our on-request premium electric sedan in Bali: five seats, sports-sedan styling, and no fixed public rate — every BYD Seal rental in Bali is quoted individually by date and duration, as of August 2026. Supply of this car on the island is small, so we confirm a real unit before you pay anything. Send your dates to WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000 for a same-day quote.

This page explains what the Seal is, when it is the right Bali car (and when it is not), how the on-request pricing works, and which alternatives to consider. The complete line-up lives on our fleet page.

What is the BYD Seal?

The Seal is BYD’s flagship electric sports sedan — low, wide, and unmistakably premium. It is the car people photograph at the valet, and the antidote to the idea that a Bali EV must be a small city runabout.

  • Five seats in a low-slung sedan body with a genuinely premium cabin
  • BYD Blade Battery; long-range versions claim over 500 km on the CLTC cycle — real-world is lower, but still among the longest of any EV rented on the island
  • Strong acceleration by any standard; effortless overtaking on the bypass
  • DC fast charging supported at public SPKLU stations
  • Sedan boot — two large cases plus soft bags

When is the Seal the right car for Bali?

Choose the Seal when the drive itself is part of the occasion: dinner runs from Nusa Dua resorts, a Seminyak-to-Uluwatu sunset date, arriving anywhere you would rather not arrive in a hatchback. Its long range also means most guests never charge at all during a short rental.

One honest caveat: ground clearance. Steep villa ramps in the Uluwatu cliffs and the sharper village speed bumps ask for a careful, angled approach. On main roads and resort corridors the Seal is entirely at home; on rough countryside tracks a taller car is the better tool.

Nusa Dua deserves a special mention — the ITDC estate has confirmed SPKLU charging and the smoothest roads in Bali, reached from the airport in 20–40 minutes via the Bali Mandara toll road (Rp14,000 for cars). Our electric car rental Nusa Dua guide has the details.

How much does it cost to rent a BYD Seal in Bali?

There is no fixed public rate: BYD Seal rental price in Bali is quoted per booking, based on dates, duration and delivery point, as of August 2026. Expect clearly more than compact EVs — above the Atto 1 at $47 and the indicative Atto 3 at $95 — reflecting its premium-sedan class.

Mode USD / day What is included
Self-drive On request Confirmed unit before payment, villa or hotel delivery (free on the Kuta–Seminyak–airport corridor), high-charge handover, model walkthrough, WhatsApp support
BYD Seal with driver On request + driver from $35/day Everything above plus a licensed English-speaking driver — the full chauffeured-sedan experience

Quotes are valid for the dates offered and confirmed in writing on WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000. No fake urgency, no bait rates — if the car is not available, we tell you.

Is the BYD Seal actually available in Bali?

In small numbers, yes. The Seal sits in a niche the mainstream Bali fleets skip, which is exactly why we run it on request rather than publishing a rate we cannot always honour. When a unit is free for your dates, you get a firm quote; when it is not, we say so directly.

If your dates miss the Seal, two real alternatives exist in our BYD self drive and premium range: the BYD Atto 3 SUV from an indicative $95 per day, or the Hyundai Ioniq 5 with driver at $500 for a 24-hour premium charter — both as of August 2026.

Chauffeured or self-drive: which Seal experience fits?

Self-drive is the enthusiast’s answer — the Seal’s acceleration and low centre of gravity make even the airport bypass entertaining, and villa-to-beach-club hops feel like an occasion. Choose it if you enjoy driving and your itinerary sticks to the south’s smoother corridors.

With a driver, the Seal becomes a quiet executive lounge. Photoshoot days, anniversary dinners, moving between resort meetings in Nusa Dua — you arrive unruffled while someone local handles the scooter chess. The driver add-on runs from $35 per day on top of your quoted rate.

Either way the quote process is identical, and switching modes mid-trip is usually possible with notice on WhatsApp. Tell us how you want to use the car and we will structure the days accordingly.

Can I self-drive the BYD Seal in Bali?

Yes, subject to availability — the Seal is offered self-drive or with a driver from $35 per day extra. Self-drive requires a valid home licence plus an International Driving Permit for most nationalities. The car arrives charged; you return it with a reasonable charge, not full-to-full.

How far can the BYD Seal go on one charge?

Long-range versions claim over 500 km CLTC; even discounting real-world conditions, that is several days of Bali driving. For perspective, airport to Uluwatu is 22–23 km, and Bali ended 2025 with 230 public SPKLU units across 164 locations, fast-charging service fee Rp933.22 per kWh.

What do we need from you for a quote?

Three things, sent in one message: your dates, your delivery address, and whether you want self-drive or a driver. For self-drive, have your home licence and an International Driving Permit ready for handover — most nationalities need both in Indonesia.

Quotes come back the same day with the delivery fee (free on the Kuta–Seminyak–airport corridor) already included. Nothing is charged until the exact unit and dates are confirmed to you in writing.

How do I book?

  • Send dates, delivery address and self-drive or with-driver preference to WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000
  • We confirm live Seal availability and reply with a firm all-in quote — same day
  • Confirm to lock the unit; delivery is free on the Kuta–Seminyak–airport corridor, modest fee elsewhere in Bali
  • Email alternative: sales@balipremiumtrip.com

Still deciding? Compare the practical Atto 3 SUV, the budget-friendly VinFast VF3 at $38 per day, or read the rental FAQ for licence and charging answers before you message.
