An electric car with driver in Bali costs from $64 per day — a Wuling Air EV city car plus an English-speaking driver — rising to $113 per day for a chauffeured 7-seat Wuling Darion MPV. Premium chauffeur options include a luxury electric MPV at $235 for a 12-hour day and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 at $500 on a 24-hour premium arrangement. Rates are current as of August 2026 — confirm your final quote on WhatsApp at +62 811-2859-0000.
Bali Electric Car runs an all-electric fleet, so a chauffeured day here means a silent cabin, no idling fumes at temple car parks, and a driver who already knows where Bali’s 230 public chargers sit across 164 locations. You plan the day; your driver handles the traffic, the parking and every charging stop.

Self-drive models take an English-speaking driver add-on from $35 per day on top of the car rate; the combined prices above are therefore quoted as “from”. Chauffeur-class vehicles — the Darion, the luxury MPV and the Ioniq 5 — always come with a driver and are never rented self-drive.
How much does an electric car with driver cost in Bali?
Expect $64–$113 per day for most electric cars with a driver in Bali: the car’s daily rate plus an English-speaking driver add-on from $35, or $113 flat for the chauffeured 7-seat Wuling Darion. Luxury chauffeur arrangements run $235–$500 per day. Prices are current as of August 2026; confirm the final figure on WhatsApp.
Can I book an electric car with driver in Bali?
Yes — every model in our fleet can be booked with an English-speaking driver. Message WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000 with your dates, group size and a rough itinerary, and you will get a quote in the same conversation with the car, driver and pick-up point confirmed. Chauffeured MPVs are the most requested class, so reserve those first.
What is included when you hire a driver?
- An English-speaking driver who builds the route around your plans and around Bali’s traffic peaks.
- All charging handled for you — your driver tops up while you eat, swim or shop, so range is never your problem.
- Door-to-door pick-up from your villa or hotel; handover across the Kuta–Seminyak–airport corridor is free, and other areas are covered through our islandwide delivery service.
- Local knowledge that no map app carries: temple dress codes, which warungs are worth the detour, and when to leave to beat the worst of the traffic.
Daily hours and multi-day itineraries are flexible and agreed when you book. Tell us what the day looks like and we will structure the driver arrangement around it rather than forcing you into a fixed package.
Chauffeur-class electric vehicles
The Wuling Darion is the workhorse of our chauffeur fleet: seven seats, a flat $113 per day with driver, and enough boot space for a family’s luggage. Above it sit the Denza D9 luxury MPV on a 12-hour chauffeured day at $235 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 on a 24-hour premium arrangement at $500.
Looking for a Tesla or Porsche with a chauffeur? Those cars have no regular rental fleet in Bali; we can arrange them on request through our concierge network, subject to availability. Most guests choose the Hyundai Ioniq 5 or a chauffeured luxury MPV as the available premium electric alternatives.
Driver add-on for the self-drive fleet
Any self-drive model can become a with-driver car for an add-on from $35 per day. For families the sweet spot is the BYD M6: six to seven seats with a driver from around $105 per day combined, which undercuts most conventional chauffeured MPVs on the island.
Where can your drivers take you?
Anywhere on the island with a drivable road — from the beach clubs of the southern belt to the crater rim at Kintamani. The difference with an electric car is that your driver plans the charging around your stops, so the car tops up while you are at lunch, not while you wait.
- Ubud and the rice terraces — around 60–105 minutes from the southern resort belt depending on traffic; your driver plans charging around the confirmed public chargers in Gianyar regency while you walk the Campuhan Ridge.
- Uluwatu and the Bukit — around 45–75 minutes from the airport corridor; drivers charge in Nusa Dua or Jimbaran first, since the Bukit itself has no confirmed public charger yet.
- Nusa Dua — roughly 20–40 minutes via the Bali Mandara toll road (Rp14,000 for cars, the rate since April 2024).
- East and north Bali — Candidasa, Amed and Lovina are long-range day trips your driver plans around confirmed chargers in Klungkung, Karangasem and Singaraja.
Morning and late-afternoon peaks (roughly 08:00–10:00 and 16:00–19:00) can stretch journey times by half or more. With a private driver you sit those stretches out in a cool, silent cabin with your phone free — instead of white-knuckling Sunset Road yourself.
Who books a chauffeured EV in Bali?
Families are the biggest group: a Bali family car rental with driver means child-wrangling happens in the back seat while a professional handles the roads, and a 7-seater swallows the luggage. Couples book private drivers for honeymoon days built around sunset temples and quiet beach clubs.
Corporate travellers use chauffeured EVs for meetings between Denpasar, Sanur and Nusa Dua, where the toll road makes timings predictable. And plenty of first-time visitors simply want a full sightseeing day — a Bali private driver in an electric vehicle is the calmest way to see three regions in one day.
Multi-day and evening arrangements
Most guests book their driver by the day, but multi-day itineraries — a southern beach day, an Ubud day, an east coast day — are common and simple to arrange. Evening-only runs to a sunset dinner in Jimbaran or Uluwatu also work well; the car charges while you eat.
Tell us the shape of your trip on WhatsApp and we will quote the whole arrangement in one message, rather than pricing each day separately.
Should I choose an EV with driver or self-drive in Bali?
Choose a driver if this is your first Bali trip, you have no International Driving Permit, or you would rather not manage dense scooter traffic and charging stops yourself. Choose self-drive electric car rental if you hold a licence plus IDP and want total freedom from $29 per day.
